We dined twice at Captain Jerry's during our holiday recently. We had walked along the row of restaurants along the road and this one had the best display of fish/seafood and seemed to offer the best selection available. We returned in the evening with friends. They selected the lobster pasta. My wife and I chose the swordfish, tuna, prawn and fish platter for two.The food was superb. My wife and I returned for lunch on our last day and chose the seabass for two. This was again superb. All dishes are prepared to order and you therefore have to be willing to wait a little while whilst something like a large seabass is grilled. The staff are happy to fillet the fish after cooking,so no need to worry about this.We would not hesitate in returning for more delicious food at amazingly low prices.(June 2015)

My wife, youngest son and myself had the most memorable and delicious seabass dinner at Captain Jerry last summer 2013. We watched the fishermen bring the freshly caught seabass and other types of fish to the restaurant. Yorgos, the chef, did an incredible job cooking the fish. I am not a lover of most seafood, but this meal was exceptionally good. We are looking to returning in the summer of 2015 to the restaurant and the beautiful island of Kefalonia. OPAH!!

Again we visited Captain Jerry's during our holiday in Kefalonia in June 2010.  The food is fresh and really good, especially the fish dishes.  A nice relaxing place to visit for a good quality lunch/dinner.  Good value, excellent food, friendly service.

We visited Captain Jerry's three times during our week's stay in Katelios at half term.  The food was consistently good and very reasonable with great fresh fish.  The service was a little slow at times but we were on holiday after all and the view is lovely over the waterfront.  The children were able to play with their friends on the beach while the adults lingered over another glass of wine.  The meal deals comprising a greek salad, grilled fish (sea bass, red snapper, swordfish) and half a litre of house wine for EUR 13-15 were excellent value.

Very good sea food but not as good as some other restaurants we used.

Fantastic service and tuna fillet to die for.
All the fish dishes are fabulous and excellent value.
The cream mushrooms and tzatziki are in our view the best in Katelios. We can vouch for the freshness of the fish as Jerry greets the fishing boats every morning and buys his stock from them.
Definitely the best fish taverna.

We always go to Captain Jerrys a couple of times during our stay in Kefalonia for an evening meal.  Food is great and always value for money, they are always friendly.  Would definately recommend.

New for the 2007 season and expanded in 2008 as doing well.  No relation to Jerry's Elliniko, as Jerry is one of the commonest names on the island, after the patron saint, Gerasimos.

Service and food excellent especially from the grill - had one of the best pork souvlakis ever.
