just returned from 2 weeks at Lourdas,in Lara hotel, tried some local tavernas,so/so, we hired a car to go to katelios / scala to find some decent restaurants so i drove past LIBRA every day for a week, (fool).
EXCELLENT
good quality, plenty of it and that rarest of all things greek HOT and fresh, It was so good we saved it for our last night, we both had the steak, 'Superb',(gordon ramsay sod off and learn to cook like this) .one evening we were there and it started to rain so Geoff insisted on driving us back to the hotel what service. we highly recommend
LIBRA
with reservation's as we dont want you lot filling all the tables, so geoff reserve us that corner table, we will be back,
We ate here once, food was not good, moussaka was mainly cold with the odd hotspot, microwave must have been playing up?, food overall left a lot to be desired, staff pleasant enough, but kept disappearing for a fag. smoking before service to customers not good.
visited andromeda once, food good but no big beans and in a greek restaurant this is unforgivable, staff pleasant and attentive but for the price they should be,would visit again, but,if like us you are at the lara its a LONG walk UPHILL
Probably the best greek salad in lourdas we had several here at lunchtime, its so close to the beach, one problem is the waiters are a little surly.one couple walked out as they commented " you are not pleasant people". a bit drastic maybe,we were content ,hot weather, nice wine good salad.
