Kevin and i are returning to Scala on tuesday 10th October for 1 week. We feel like we are going home when we get to Socrates.

All the reviews the taverna get are what this family deserve. We are so looking forward to the lovely greek food and hospitatily we get there.

Looking forward to catching up with all the family in the last year.

If you visit Scala and not have a meal in this taverna, then it is your loss!!!!

We have enjoyed our many times we have stayed at Nirithes, and look forward to seeing you and your family again. Cannot wait for some warm sunshine in  Scala, and your hospitality.

We have booked a room with balcony, so we know you will give us one with a lovely view!!!

Just back after a beautiful week in Scala.

We spent the last 4 nights eating at the Sorates.

Dimitri & Socrates had a busy winter working on their lovely new extension.

We are not happy as we had to eat inside last night as it is 12 deg here, and we left when Scala is having it's hottest May.

Dimitri and the ever smiling Denise will tell you what the specials are each night, but all the food here is fab. Try Helen's homemade choc cake, it is to die for!!

See you all in Sept, can't wait.

We have just had a greek night at home over the new year, trying to relive our many happy nights at Socrates Taverna in Scala.

Meatballs and stuffed tomatoes and some saved Socrates red wine, but alas there was lots missing.........

All the wonderful family atmosphere of the taverna, the lovely warrm welcome that Dimitri, Helene, Socrates and staff greet you with, and the wonderful greek food., & eating alfresco.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary there last sept and it was so special that we will definitely be there in sept 2008.

To appreciate the wonderful food and such a lovely relaxed atmosphere, just go and try it,

You won't be disappointed, but then we are biased!!!!
