The food was ok, we had one of the daily specials, which were the same for a week at a time I think! It was good value.

However, the service was awful, the staff were not friendly and I had to ask for the bill 3 times.

It felt as though they were doing you a big favour by serving you.

We really enjoyed our fortnight at Lovidis. Although the rooms were typically greek style self catering, they were more than adequate for my wife and I. Having said that, we did ask to be moved to an upstairs apartment as the ground floor ones were not very good for any privacy and also I think we had a herd of elephants in the room above! We had to wait another week, but it was well worth it. I would recommend trying to get an upper apt if you can. One of the best things about Lovidis was the fact that you were not forced to get up at 6 o'clock in the morning to reserve a sunbed, there was always plenty available any time of the day. It is also very clean, which is down to the great staff there.

A lovely place to chill out and wind down.

Olympic were quite good but let us down on a couple of things. The flight times were changed about 3 weeks before departure, it was only 2 hours later but it was enough to make an ok flight time into a bad one. The other thing was that on the pick up transfer to go home, I discovered that our coach also picked up another flight which was to depart ahead of us. Nothing wrong with that you might think, but what it really meant was, Olympic saved themselves the cost of transferring us seperately, but we were dropped at the airport 3 hours and 15 mins before departure instead of the usual 1 1/2 - 2 hours and thought that was a bit of a cheek.
