This is best restuarant in Lassi.............We had the best time of our lives at the resturant. George and Petros are delightful, the waiters are attentive and pleasant. The food was divine and the atmosphere sublime. The portions are large and plentiful..........A memory to treasure forever. P.S. The house wine is very good.........

We ate at Trata a couple of days after the comment below and are really surprised by their comment.  Our food was superb - great starters of garlic mushrooms in cream sauce and calamari, superb mains of vegetarian mezes and red snapper.  Fast service, an Italian star at the next table and a lunar eclipse to boot!  Great meal!

Suberb food and ambience. We had the swordfish steak and kebabs and the kids meals,a smaller version of all the mains, was a welcome change to nugget and chips or pizza !! The pork souvlaki was also excellent. We tried all the main resturants in Lassi but came back here twice which says a lot.Very friendly staff and the aftermeal brandy-on the house was as good as any I have tasted!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals here - yes we went back a few times!  The food was lovely and the service excellent, very professional.  The Greek dishes were really good - especially the eggplant/aubergine salad starter and the kefalonian meat pie.  Portion sizes were generous - I don't think we were ever able to eat everything on our plates - and they served baked potatoes, rice and veg with main course.  We would heartily recommend this restaurant.

Went here on our first night (we had been here previously on holiday in Lassi). Had lovely meal and enjoyed it. The restaurant was very quiet this particular night even though it was a saturday.  Went again later in our holiday and had to sit right behind the fountains which was very noisy and they are quite powerfull.  It seems we were a bit forgotten sitting here as we had to wait ages to get served for drinks, then our food.  One of us ordered the mousakka and it was quite laughable when it came out as it was the smallest dish ever, served in a little round pyrex bowl!!!! My sisters boyfriend was too polite to complain about it, so he just ate it, but was still starving by the end!  My parents who were with us were not overly impressed with their dishes, not sure what it was but it was some kind of chicken.  When the meal was finished we wanted to go over the road into So Simple bar, but we had to ask so many times for the bill, it got to the point where some of us got up and walked out and over into So Simple.  Only three of us where left and were still waiting for the bill.  We were very close to leaving without paying as they obviously did not want our money!  We eventually got it about half an hour after asking for it, and needless to say they did not get a tip!!!! The only tip I would give the waiters there, is improve on your service to your customers' as this was not acceptable compared to other restaurants we've been to in Lassi.  The best one is Ionio, you cannot match this place, it is amazing and you never have to ask twice for anything, they cannot do enough for you here and the food is amazing!!!!!

Good food.

Don't sit near the fountains if it is windy - you get soaked!!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, the pork chops look like they have come from a pig in Chernobyl they are that big and juicy, along with a big baked spud, delicious rice and fresh veg. The house wine was the best we had and the free brandys at the end was a treat. If you have enough room left for a sweet try either the fresh strawberries with ice cream or the Lemon pie, although having the strawberries delivered with a lit sparkler to a bloke looked a little suspect. If you just want a drink it is also the cheapest in Lassi so go and enjoy!

This was the best restaurant in town!! Food just melted in the mouth! This is a place where even most requirying gourman wold find a dish to saticfy his/her taste! Food is fresh! Fish is just caught the same day as it is served! Choice is huge! When it comes to dinner choice.... hard to decide cause eyes will want everything and there will not be enough space in the stomach! This will make you definately to come back!

Staff - wow the most friendly and caring and most important they "carry" huge and genuine smile on their faces!

You come to restaurant and a guest and leave as a friend!!!!

We were thoroughly impressed with La Trata!  The choice was excellent, both food and wine, location perfect and our waiters, Panagiotis and Petros were incredibly attentive.  There is nothing bad to say about this restaurant - you must visit!

We would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone - the best in Lassi!  Smile

We were outside looking at the menu board, when suddenly this big greek man appeared from nowhere. FAMILEEE!!!!! he said and proceeded to tell us the history of the restaurant and the entire menu.  We thought Why not? so followed him in over the elaborate water feature (glass covered waterfall underfoot). I had pepper fillet steak and my husband had squid which was excellent. Can't remember what the children had, except littlest one had chicken negkets! Frozen diced veg spoiled it a bit but rice was good and chips were fresh. Ate there twice during our holiday.

This place was absolutely great! I agree that the veggies were straight of a tin, but who eats veg whilst on holiday? We ate here nearly every night which probably wasn't very adventurous, but when we went to other restaurants they just didn't compare, so we went with what we liked!! Plus they had really nice wine, and the bread was great ....... about the size of half a loaf! I would definitely recommend Trata as the place to eat.

I liked this place, the food was very good, we had the Kleftico and my wife tried the Spaghetti, both were very good. The staff were attentive and the food not over priced, no entertainment , but for a nice meal around 9pm, this place was fine.
