hi had another great holiday in scala. although very sad to see one of my favorite bars sta vento very run down and up for sale. but Alan really pulled all the stops out. nero was the best value for money ,music, footy and being able to charge my mobile was a godsend after leaving the charger in uk.
the cocktails are the best. and a great laid back atmosphere ,I was in there every nite, till late ,then round to see Michael at times sq, he hasn't changed still doing the loovleys. yes he,s back!
don't know if he will be there next year. anyway thanks again Alan for a brilliant time.congrats on your first season well done to both you and sue for a lot of hard work and commitment i will be back with lots of friends next year. hope to catch up over the water sometime November.safe journey home.

Nero is a great bar just been to Skala in August 2008.
Alan the owner and staff Sarah and Steph are great always make you welcome.
Also the best prices in Skala so give it a visit you will not be disappointed. |

Got back last Sunday from a week in Skala. 
Nero is a great bar. Alan, Sarah and Steph are all really friendly and make you feel very welcome. The bar looks really good now and is very relaxing. The air-conditioning was nice as it was sooo hot every night. Music was vey good and the drinks are much cheaper then anywhere else, with long happy hours and loyalty cards.
I went every night and can't wait to go back at the end of September! |

Just returned from a great week in Skala. Heard about the Nero bar from the Just Kefalonia forum and couldn't recommend this place any higher. Alan (the owner of the bar) and the girls made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We went almost every night. The drinks are the cheapest around, music to suit all ages and the atmosphere is great. You wont get a warmer welcome.

| Just got back from Skala, we found the Nero bar in the 2nd week. Alan and the girls were brilliant and the welcome you get is 2nd to none. The bar is down a side street which can be missed but needs to be found.
Aircon comfy chairs and friendly atmosphere and a big tv for sport or music. Our son Dan learned how to make me cocktails, by watching the girls.

went to this bar on the last week of our hollidays it was brilliant! its the cheapest in scala! its laid back
and very relaxing. its great to start the night at and to Finnish with.as well as an all evening venue if that makes sence. anybody that likes sport wont be disappointed. its got a large tv with plenty of leather seating and loads of room and you dont go home deaf! the staff are great nothing top much trouble ,although when we where there the staff were undergoing training on cocktails which was great as they were only 350 euros and spot on .I cant recommend this bar highly enough try it you wont be disapointed.   
ps its just down the road from manolis! brilliant fantasticone of the best
