I must say that prior to my holiday i had read some of the commnets about the marietta and was a little apprehensive, to say the least . My concerns were soon put to rest , my first impressions of the marietta was how noce and clean it was , basic accomadation but hey who spends time in their room anyway !! A very well run place , friendly staff , nice pool area and just far enough out of the centre of Skala to make shopping and a good night out enjoybale without too much noise late at night ( or early in the morning)
I would agree with the comment about the two ring hob but hey improvise and who wants to cook on their jollies anyway .
A great place to stay, would go again , highly recommended | |

Have just returned from the Marietta, and i couldnt really fault it! We had a lovely holiday, the hotel was only a short walk from skala town and our room was nice! Everywhere was nice and clean, pool nice (but a tad cold - even though you needed it to cool down because of the heat!) and the staff really friendly! There were a few families there, although no kids entertainment. The only thing was the kitchenette only had a two ring hob, although this was more than adequate as we ate out most nights! Overall, highly recommended!!!!  | |

Don't pay any attention to the comments below!!! This is a lovely apartment complex, just a couple of minutes walk into to Skala centre, lovely friendly staff, spacious clean apartment and a brilliant pool, would not hesitate to reccomend this to my mum, and she is REALLY picky!! | |

| Following two excellent holidays at the Marietta last year we returned only to be disappointed with the overall level of service (with the exception of the receptionist, Stavroula). The bar is relatively expensive (& lacking atmosphere !) & the room service was, compared to last year, poor - the beds were never made, the appartment floor was rarely swept & the room furnishings appeared "tired" & could do with some attention. | ||||||||||

We didn't like staying here at all. The rooms were smelt of damp and were requested a high level room and was put in room one !!! Also you are kept awake at night with the sounds of dogs barking every night. We had to wear ear plugs just to get some sleep. The only thing that was nice about it was the lady who ran the reception. | ||||||||||

Very good pool v clean one of the best i have seen room cleaned daily food at the bar good down side the drinks are expensive if you have children ie 2.50 uros for a tin of coka cola all in all v good and recomended to all | ||||||||||
