Paradise Beach Restaurant - (Restaurants in Agia Efimia)

We were surprised to find Paradise Beach taverna as it can't be seen very well from the main bay of Ag. Efimia.   Having had a walk around the bay, and found Paradise beach itself,  it was lunchtime and we stopped for something to eat.  We were greeted by the proprietor who welcomed us and recommended their Kefalonian meat pie.  We also ordered a salad and ouzos with lemonade.   The pie was delicious, freshly made and so much better than one we had eaten in another taverna earlier in the week. We were each given a dish of fresh fruit salad as a desert on the house.   Lovely setting and beautiful views.   Would also say that it was the only taverna in Ag. Efimia that had wasp traps - all the other tavernas  take note please as we were pestered by the horrible things everywhere else!!

Finikas Restaurant - (Restaurants in Agia Efimia)

We have just returned from Ag. Efimia.  Having tried most of the other tavernas, we chose to return to Finikas three times in one week.  The food was good,  the service excellent, and we were given a desert of Tiramasu cake on the house whether we had purchased one course or two.   Didn't have the fried aubergines, but did have the courgettes which were crispy and delicious.  Would recommend this restaurant.

Captain Corellis - (Restaurants in Agia Efimia)

We ate in Capt. Corellis on our first night as we arrived late and it was the first taverna we came to.  We had the mixed grill for two with a jug of house wine, which was very nice, reasonable and gave us a good impression.  However having tried some of the other tavernas, we only chose to go back once to Capt Correllis for some lunch and were sadly not over impressed the second time we visited by both the food and the service.

Waterside Apartments - (Accommodation in Agia Efimia)

Got back a couple of days ago from Waterside Apartments.  We had done our homework and asked our tour operator Manos if we could have a sea-view studio, which thankfully they gave us.  Beautiful gardens, fantastic views from our balcony.  Very convenient to walk into Ag. Efimia.   Basic studio,  asked for and were given extra pillows,  kitchen had all we needed, equiped for three with two ring hob and a very noisy fridge!  Lovely proprietors, helpful and pleasant who take a great pride in their studios and gardens.  English paperbacks and magazines to read.    Air conditioning /blankets provided.  Maid service every day ensured everything very clean and tidy.    Downside would be staying in studio on the road side of the building where work was being done on a property over the road and although not very busy, there was a lot of heavy vehicles passing, so check when booking that you have a sea view if possible.   Lovely place.
