Paspalis Hotel - (Accommodation in Skala)

We are off to Pas Palais at end of September for two weeks. The info on the price of air-conditioning was good - how about cost of a safe?
Also can you tell me how big the rooms were (we are going Bed and breakfast). How big was the bathroom area?
Was it quiet to stay there?

Well we have just arrived back from two weeks at Pas Palais and we can't recommend the hotel enough.
We had a lovely room spotlessly clean with a sea view.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a free fridge in the room and a free tv which we could get CNN and BBC World news and the fashion channel. We hired a fan as opposed to air-conditioning and Nicos didn't even charge us the second week. Breakfast was great as there was plenty on offer but you could also pay for a cooked breakfast if you wanted.
Pool was lovely and big but very cold! Liked the fact that there were books and magazines and papers to borrow and contribute to.
The worse problem was the wasps especially at breakfast.
All in all would certainly go back toPas Palais again - the views over the sea whilst eating are just wonderful.

We went here 26th Sept 2006. It was very friendly  and the food was good although I had a Aiolos salad because it included advocados but I couldn't eat any of them as they are rock hard and when the waiter cleared the plates he asked 'did you not like advocados?'  and I said yes thats why I chose that salad but I couldn't eat them as they were too hard and he just shrugged his shoulders.

We ate here1st Oct 2006 and we found the food good.  I had lamb stuffed with spinich and cheese which was really nice and it came with lots of veg and potatoes and my husband had a nice stamna.
They gave you a large bottle of water on the table with whatever wine you ordered and with the bill we had two complimentary cinnamon liquers - tasted a bit like cough mixture
Our only problem was the coaches which kept coming pass alot

We found the food here really good and staff friendly BUT they rushed around so much it spolied trying to have a nice quiet relaxing meal - it was like they were on speed

This came as one of our top tavernas this time. Food was excellent, staff very friendly and a nice relaxed atmosphere.
We especially liked the Alaska chicken and the chicken in mushroom and cream sause and the meatballs.
The banana splits are huge!!

Food is fabulous here - we are a bit biased as we also stayed here and everything was wonderful.
Staff are helpful and friendly and choice on menu very good. You get a free peach snapps with your bill too.
Great place to eat and what a lovely view too being opposite the sea.
Only one problem - wasps!!

We love it here as the main waiter is so funny once you get used to his manner.  Food is great and you can people watch as no one rushes you after you have eaten your meal.
Everyone friendly and helpful and a brilliant menu

This was a great place to eat as it is really family run and the food is fabulous with different specials nearly every night. The homemade cake was wonderful.  Would certainly recommend here
