Paradise Apartments - (Accommodation in Skala)

Stayed at these apartments 4th August to 17th August and found them to very clean. Kosmar said that they did not supply bath towels so we packed our own. On arriving at the apartments we found that bath towels were provided and then changed three times during our stay.
Would recommend these apartments to anyone who has experienced Greek accomodation in the past and is able to walk up hill for about 10 minutes in 90 degrees heat!
ps Excellent hot water supply. Never had a cold shower whole time I was there. Unheard of in my Greek accomodation experience.
Noise didn't seem to be a problem as previously stated but it probably depends on staying there at the time.
We had a ground floor apartment which meant we didn't have a private balcony so everybody that entered the apartments had to walk past us. This wasn't really a problem but I always seemed to be drinking at the time. People must have thought I was an alcoholic!

Mi Abeli Restaurant - (Restaurants in Skala)

Ate here on 4 occasions during our stay. The food was excellent as was the service. We found the prices extremely cheap but this was probably due to the fact that they were able to provide childrens portions of most things on the menu. Made a change from having to make both the children share an adult meal or buying one of the "kids type" meals some tavernas have to offer. The waiters also make a point of helping with you "Pigeon Greek"

Flamingo - (Restaurants in Skala)

We ate here twice during our stay and found the food to be lovely. They didn't have much in the way of childrens portions which made it slightly more expensive than Mi Abella

The Pines - (Restaurants in Skala)

We only ate here once during our stay but would say that it served the best food in Skala. Probably the most expensive meal we had but was definately worth it. Didn't really cater for children sized portions of the main meals and my kids didn't like the usual childrens fare. They like to ensure that you drink plenty of water but I think this is so that you will use there toilet! Those of you have been will know what I mean!

Old Village Restaurant - (Restaurants in Skala)

Ate here 3 times during our stay. Food was exellent and well prepared. The beef in lemon sauce was lovely. Didn't do small portions of the main meals for children which makes it a little more ecpensive when your kids don't want the usual childrens meals. Waiters and waitresses very attentive and appreciated my attempts at the Greek language.
