Katelios Taverna

Just got back from our first visit to Kefalonia. We had a series of very fine meals in Katelios. All fresh food, well presented and reasonably priced. I think that the Katelios just edged it as the best of the seafront tavernas - everything we ate was excellent and the prices very reasonable. Also it did not have loud musak spoiling the meal.

Delicious food and very friendly service. Fresh fish excellent and much more reasonably priced than at the specialist fish Tavernas. Our favourite sea-front Taverna by far.

Food truly excellent - menu much improved on previous years. Elias & Sadie got married on 15 Sept - hope all went well for them both. Lyn, as usual worked her socks off!!! Had a brillant 2 weeks in late September - hope to be back in the not too distant future.

We ate at this taverna on several occasions. Made to feel most welcome, the food was good and prices reasonable.

Good choice of menu as well.

Best restaurant in Katelios, lovely family, lovely waitress (blonde one sorry did not find out name) Food really fantastic. See you next year...love the fresh figs!

We only ate here the once as we weren't actually staying in Katelios. But we were very impressed by the food - we had lunch there, and the seafood was fantastic! The service was friendly and the location was very peaceful. We hoped to go back to the restaurant again, but just ran out of time on our holiday!

The best resturant in Katelios. We ate breakfast there every morning (the best there is going) and most evening meals were spent having a drink and a laugh with the fantastic family who own it! We were made to feel very welcome and became very good friends with the family and staff.

Very good family resto. Ilias the crazy owner is fun and great to be around. His parents Spiros and Eleni are great people.. amazing food and service, nice place to stay and relax and let the day go by. My favorite restaurant in katelios!!

VERY VERY EXCELLENT RESTAURANT!!! Definetely a place to go! Great great food, amazing family restaurant, amazing location and great atmosphere. Right by the beach, free sunbeds, amazingly relaxing bar area, and great location to bring children theres a park right beside the resto. A+ restaurant!!!

I stayed in Katelios for two weeks I really enjoyed it. This is best resturant to go to . It is a family resturant and the are so friendly. I ate their every day and tryed nearly the whole menu it was so good. The atmosphere is really nice and the bar at night time is really livly.

Not eaten here other than breakfast but enjoyed Shirley Valentine type location. Free sunbeds and Elias the bar man is a top bloke, even if he does support Olympiakos. People very freindly.

we tried the food twice,first time we thought we had been unlucky and the second time just showed how terrible the food was.

Fantastic location, food and people. Being next to the beach and swings is a bonus if you have kids.

wonderful food and great company elias just loves people from all countries ... but beware ... you may not want to leave!
